Privacy Policy

Notice at collection and privacy policy. Last updated August 2026.

swipey-ai.me publishes comparisons and reviews of third-party services. This policy explains what personal information the site collects, why, and what residents of US states with privacy statutes — California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas and others as their laws take effect — can require of us. Readers elsewhere, including in the EEA and the UK, have equivalent rights and are covered by the same practices.

Categories of Personal Information Collected

Sources and Purposes

Information comes from you directly, from your device as you browse, and from the affiliate networks that report referral totals to us. We use it to respond to enquiries, to operate and secure the site, to measure readership in aggregate and plan editorial work, to verify commission owed to us, and to comply with law. We retain each category only as long as its purpose requires: logs for weeks, correspondence until a matter is closed, analytics in aggregated form thereafter.

Disclosure, Sale and Sharing

We disclose personal information to service providers for business purposes — hosting, content delivery, email, analytics, affiliate tracking — under contracts that restrict them to those purposes. We do not sell personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined under the CPRA. We have not sold or shared the personal information of any consumer, including anyone under 16, in the preceding twelve months. Personal information may additionally be disclosed to comply with law or legal process, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

Your Rights and How to Use Them

Send any request to [email protected], stating the right you are exercising and the state you live in. An authorised agent may act for you with written permission. We will verify a request against the information we actually hold; for a visitor who has never contacted us, that information is usually a cookie identifier and an IP address, and we will explain when we cannot connect a request to a person rather than demand additional identity documents. Responses are provided within 45 days, extendable once where the statute allows.

Cookies, Signals and Children

Essential cookies keep the site working; analytics and advertising cookies are optional and controllable from your browser at any time. The site does not respond to “Do Not Track”, for want of a standard defining what that response should be. California residents may also make a “Shine the Light” request about disclosures for direct marketing purposes, of which we make none. swipey-ai.me is intended for adults, we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and anything of the sort is deleted on discovery.

Security and Changes

We maintain reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the limited information we hold, including encryption in transit and restricted internal access, while acknowledging that no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. This policy is updated when our practices or the applicable statutes change; the current version, with its date, is always the one published on this page, and continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of it.

Our site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to personalize our content and analyze our traffic.
